Internships

This fall/winter, Joanna Sorensen joined us for a 4 month internship, writing curriculum for a year-long English as a Second Language Course and trained our coordinators to teach our girls. Learning English is life-changing for our girls, and will give them great opportunities for higher-education and good jobs to change the trajectory of their lives, thus breaking the cycle of poverty. Joanna worked between Hyderabad and our 4 centers operating in rural villages throughout South India. Joanna also served one month with us previously at our M-Center while on The World Race.

We have asked Joanna to return for 3 months in the Summer of 2019 to lead two teams of young adults as they visit our centers. At the same time she will be able to follow up with our center coordinators on their English teaching of her curriculum and measure the progress and troubleshoot any issues.

You can give to Joanna as a one time gift or consider supporting her monthly from now until she returns in August. Please click the button below to give. Thank you so much for your support.
